Since the National Energy Guarantee (NEG) announcement by the Federal Government, the wholesale energy prices have moved up.

However last week the prices moved slightly lower, but it is unsure how long the decline would continue. It is safe to assume that the prices would start to increase again once the weather becomes warmer, as we have experienced price spikes on warm days in the past.

VIC ASX Flat Futures prices are at $107.96 per MWh and NSW ASX Futures are at $95.53 per MWh this week.
