IMPORTANT UPDATES TO YOUR ENERGY ACCOUNT

As a valued Energy Intelligence customer, we would like to inform you of important changes in Regulatory Charges that will come effective from 1 July 2019.

1. GST rates are now displayed on our energy invoice in Victoria

   As part of the Victorian government’s energy reforms, the way that GST is displayed on your energy bill is now changed. This change means that all energy invoices including electricty, hot water and gas are required to display rates and charges inclusive of GST where applicable for sites located in Victoria. Sites located in other states will remain unchanged.
   
   The changes may impact the way your customer’s accounts department process payments, so it’s important that they are made aware of these changes.

2. AEMO Market Charges

   The Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) has undertaken its annual review of regulatory market charges and loss factors with changes also effective from 1 July 2019.

3. Network Tariffs updated for WA, NSW, QLD and ACT

   The Australian Energy Regulator approved distribution network tariffs will take effect from 1st July 2019 for WA, NSW, QLD, ACT.
